Now is your chance to prove that if it was you there, you could have turned that teamfight around. In this tournament we will be replaying the deciding moment from the TI 2022. Infamous 107 min game of Entity vs RNG. We will jump right to the late game of minute 87 thanks to the mod Dota 2 Skirmish but TI 2022.

🎮 RULES & FORMAT

Overview

In every match teams play the same scenario. Once for Radiant and once for Dire. Team that wins both games advances to the next round. If both teams win the same number of games, the team that won the fastest advances. The team that ends up higher in the bracket starts the first game as Radiant and the second one as Dire.

In finals, teams play 3 matches with the same rules. Whoever wins the most matches, wins the finals.

Expected 16 teams, anyone can enter. Organizers will select teams based on their rank and time of registration.

Bracket: Single elimination.

Will be played on the Singapore server. Philippine teams are preferred. Each team must have a designated captain and be ready to provide a preferred way of receiving price earnings. Preferably by GCASH.

Every player must have the “Dota 2 Skirmish but TI 2022” installed and make sure that it works.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

• First 16 teams to join the tournament.
• Will be played in a single bracket.
• Seeds will be randomized via challonge.
• Both teams play the same scenario, once for Radiant and once for Dire. If both teams win the same number of games, the team that won the fastest advances. Upper seed starts the first game as Radiant.
• Finals will be Best-of-3 games, Upper seed starts the first game as Radiant.

MECHANICS

• The tournament will not allow 4v5 games. Incomplete teams will be forfeited.
• Each team must commit to the time that has been set beforehand by the tournament organizer.
• Matches will be conducted in a Dota 2 Skirmish but TI 2022 lobby.
• No remake. Check ping request must be done before your schedule.

INGAME RULES

• Foul language or trash talk is forbidden which will be observed during the duration of the event.
• Sending unnecessary messages in the “ALL” chat in-game is not allowed.
• Both teams have a maximum pause time of 5 minutes only.
• In-game mock spam is allowed as it is part of the game.

SCHEDULES / TIMING OF MATCHES

• Teams will be advised of schedule and timing of matches prior to start of the event thru their team captain, team manager or team representative.
• All teams must be ready before the scheduled match to avoid any problems or delays.
• All teams must be ready at all times since not all matches can follow the time frame that will be allotted for each schedule (some matches may end early or longer than expected).
• Both teams in a match are only given a 5 minute grace period to start the match. Teams must be ready for all scheduled matches. Failure to do so can result in disqualification of the entire event.
• Only tournament head organizers can alter the schedule and timing of matches.

🏆 Prize Distribution

Prices will be distributed by GCASH or other reasonable services right after the tournament finishes.

All prize money will be sent to team captains within 2 days after the tournament and they are responsible for its distribution amongst their team members.

FULL TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

• Tournament is open to all teams with no age or sex restrictions.
• A team must consist of five (5) members only.
• A player must be residing or working around Visayas.
• A player can only join one (1) team.
• Participants must be available during tournament dates.
• Participants must comply with the rules set by the tournament organizers.
• Once your team is eligible or registered, the line up/players cannot be replaced throughout the event.
• Any team that disregards any of the stated guidelines and mechanics is subjected to disqualification.
• Any attempt to deceive tournament organizers or other players with false, incomplete or incorrect information can result in disqualification and will be banned from joining future tournaments to be held by VEL.
• By competing, teams/players agree to all usage of photos, videos and any form of recording during the tournament for media and marketing purposes.
• The act of joining for this event implies full acceptance of all terms, conditions, rules, and regulations stated, in its entirety.
• Breach of rules or unfair play will not be tolerated from any teams or players.
• All participants will be advised of other rules or technical aspects of the tournament prior to the start of competitions.
• Tournament head organizer reserves the final right to approve team names, players’ IGN and team logos.
• Tournament head organizer has the right to overrule any of the rules stated. This is to avoid teams or players trying to use a loophole in the rules to gain an unfair advantage.
• Tournament head organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or continued participation in the match to any registered teams/players, at any stage of the tournament, who do not comply with the requirement and aforementioned rules.
• These rules may be amended, modified or supplemented by the tournament head organizer, from time to time, in order to ensure fair play and integrity of the event.
• All decisions regarding the interpretation of these rules, player eligibility, scheduling & staging of the tournament, and penalties of misconduct, lie solely with the tournament head organizer, the decisions of which are final.
• Teams are obliged to cooperate with the tournament organizers.
• Participants are expected to display fair play & compete with the spirit of sportsmanship and in a reasonable manner, maintaining a friendly and polite demeanor in activities involving other participants and the public in general.
• Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form.

• Cheating doesn’t need to be successful to qualify as a violation. Those players who knowingly do something against the rules to gain an advantage are cheating. Conspiring to cheat is already a violation and will lead to an automatic disqualification for all conspirators.
• All forms of cheating are prohibited and can result in disqualification and banned from joining future tournaments to be held by the Visayas Esports League.
• The tournament organizers may use any form of punitive actions at their disposal against any entity whose conduct is within the confines of the best interests of the event.
