♟️ Immortal Game Tournament

The Tournament is online through https://beta.immortal.game/. You must have an Immortal game account to play

This is a two-stage Tourney with a Group Stage and Bracket Single Elimination Stage.

🤼 Group Stage Rules - Group Stage is Round Robin Formatt

• 8 Groups of 6 players.

• Sets will be one game each.

• Games are 5 min timed matches, meaning each player receives a 5 min time limit.

• If your time runs out, you lose.

• Resignation counts as a loss.

• You will play each group member once, and the top two players in the group will move on to the Single Elimination Bracket Stage.

• If there is a tie between 1st and 2nd, the two tied players will play 1 min bullet chess games until a winner is decided.

🪙 Point Distribution

• Winning a match grants 3pt.

• Draws give 1pt to both players.

• Losers, you get nothing (0 pts).

• Points will be added together from each game, and places will then be determined.

🪜 Bracket Elimination Rules - This is a Single Elimination Bracket

• Sets will be up to 1 game.

• If the players are tied, 1 min bullet chess games will be played until a winner is decided.

• Games will be 5 min timed matches, the same as the group stages.

• If your time runs out, you lose.

• Resignation counts as a loss.

• Winners of the sets will move on to the next round of the bracket, and the losers will be eliminated.

• The Final will be a BO3.

• If a player wins two games, they win the Tournament.

• Games will be 5 min timed matches, the same as the group stages.

🏅 Registration & Rewarding system.

We want to be clear and transparent on this step; therefore, we will share everything starting from Registration fees, the Prize pool, the collecting system, and finally the Distribution of rewards.

• Registration fees have been decided in 3 USDC. (Polygon Network)

• The prize pool is $100.

⁍ 1st place: $60.

⁍ 2nd place: $30.

⁍ 3rd place: $10.

All fees will be added on top of the Prize Pool ($100) and redistributed among the winners themselves based on the following format:

• 1 player joined, 3$ fee added to the total prize pool = $61 will be the prize for first place, $31 for second and $11 for third. Here is another example of 10 players joining the tournament.
• Total prize pool will be $130.
• Leaderboard accumulated rewards: 1st place: $70. 2nd place: $40. 3rd place: $20.

Rewards will be sent as USDC Polygon Network.
